Snoqualmie Falls (tritone version)

Snow melt fueled falls in the spring of 2012. When it was converted to a duotone I realized without the bright orange of the construction equipment on the far side of the river, that the image could have been taken in any year. Remembering how interesting the black and white images in my great grandmothers photo books were with the handwritten years and information on the negatives, I decided to age and frame this image in Photoshop and add the year, without a century, leaving the circa of the image to the imagination of the viewer. If they don't know what year the huge lodge on the left bank was built . . .
