Through the winter the brick around the Wintergarden is home to thousands of these tiny moss forests that stand less than an inch tall. Today I decided to take a closer look at the moss and was surprised just how beautiful and intricate they are.
I feel a bit bad now that I've found the miniature microcosm . . . knowing that they will be pressure washed away in the spring.
