Build Your Family Nest
Custom 6”x 6” nest illustrations are currently taking between 1 and 2 weeks to complete. Once I have your nest complete I will email a photo for final approval and send an invoice for the artwork as well as any requested matting and framing options. Shipping is free or pick up from my studio or delivery locally can be arranged.

I began drawing nests when the social distancing started. At the time I had no idea why they appeared suddenly at the end of my pencils, but soon we were in complete isolation and I realized our family was safe and together in the home that we were too often away from while working and going to school. We were safe in our comfortable nest, each finding a way to make the best of a bad situation. I coped by drawing a nest a day, some small, some larger, various sizes colors and shapes of eggs. So now I offer the finished drawings here and also accept custom orders to represent other families that are nesting together.
Nest No.2 features a trio of blue, speckled eggs cradled by a feather, perhaps left behind by the parents to assure the young ones that they will return soon. This one is my favorite so far...

Nest No.5 is my nod to Easter…a holiday I don’t celebrate, personally, but I did enjoy hiding eggs and baskets for the children when they were younger.
