Professional Architectural Photography Editing*

I am a full-time editor for a world-renowned architectural photographer and many architectural firms and publications so this is my area of expertise. I also work with photographers on real estate images to make the listing stand out and make both exterior and interior photos shine and represent the property in the best possible light.

Publications often provide images shot by several photographers, both professional and amateur images of the same subject, and ask that I make them a consistent set for print. While this is sometimes challenging, I really enjoy taking the pro shots and making the skewed, out-of-focus phone shots work with them. While architects, builders, real estate professionals, and their assistants and office workers are not always great photographers, good post-production can make them feel as if they are when they see their edited work in print. Post-production can definitely make the difference between a mediocre and a great shot.

*Image files can be uploaded to me via WeTransfer, Adobe CC, Dropbox or other online sharing service. RAW images are preferred for best results.

Video Editing

Important stories are often best told in moving pictures enhanced with sound and music to bring them to life and achieve a final product that grabs attention and sparks a full emotional response from the viewers. Video can be created from clips or from still images layered, blended, and panned across the screen to give the feeling of motion and life.

Basic Photo Repair + Restoration

Our photos spark memories, reminding us of family, celebrations, and travel. Unfortunately, printed photos don’t always age well, no matter how carefully we think we have stored them. I know those photo albums of my mom’s from the ‘60s and ‘70s with the sticky pages and clear overlay did not do the job they were given. But, these photos can be repaired in most cases and brought back to their original glory both for print and sharing digitally.

*Digital images (preferably 300dpi or higher) can be emailed or uploaded via a file sharing service or hard copies of the image(s) can be sent. Hard copies will be scanned or photographed creating a high-resolution digital copy of the image to be repaired.
