It's A Bird Wood Block
I was drawing nothing but flowers at one point, I don’t even like flowers, allergies and all. So one night I decided to draw a bird, I made it to the neck before my hand started drawing flowers again. Embracing the natural flow of it I just let it happen and ended up with a bit of a surreal bird portrait that I thought was a little reminiscent of victorian cameos.
The professional quality print is mounted then coated with 3 layers of non-yellowing protective spray + brush on sealer creating a canvas-like texture.
Block is stained a neutral grey and is finished so it can be viewed from all sides.
A card with the title of the piece is mounted in the back and the piece will be signed and dated.
